Arkhangelsk invites young talents from the Barents Region

We invite all interested institutions in the Barents Region to take part in the

Fifth Regional Open Competition of Young Variety and Jazz Artists 

which is to be held on February 26 – March 1, 2009 in Arkhangelsk.

The Competition is organized by:

• Arkhangelsk Regional Cultural Committee
• Arkhangelsk Musical College
• Barents Region Children’s Music School
• Arkhangelsk Regional Cultural Managers Retraining Centre

The objectives of the Competition are comprehensive creative development and career guidance of the musical students, promotion of variety and jazz music, exchange of pedagogic experience. We invite the students of the children’s music and art schools, music study groups, musical colleges. The Competition is held in the following nominations: Instrumental performers; Vocalists Ensembles Orchestras Applications must be submitted before January 31, 2009.
