The Indigenous Youth Gathering aims to attract youths from all over the world for a 4 days workshop shearing culture, art and experience in Manndalen July 15th-19th 2009The Indigenous Youth Gathering aims to attract youths from all over the world to meet and share of their respective and unique cultural knowledge and experience. This will in turn enhance their pride and conciseness about their own culture.
Riddu Riđđu Festivála and the Indigenous Youth Gathering hope to strengthen and unite the global indigenous youth community, first and foremost in the Northern areas. This is what the Indigenous Youth Program will offer: Workshops in sami yoik, song and dance from the Nisg'a people and doudji.
Anyone between 15-25 years can participate, and registration can be done through the registration form that can be downloadeded from the website www.riddu.no. state your date of birth, country of origin and field of interest.
