New financial program for sportcooperation
The Norwegian Barents Secretariat have launched a new programme to strengthen the cooperation within sports in the Barents region. There is a special priority for projects that involves childen and youth.The international sport cooperation in the region ivolves many participants and contributes to break down political, social and cultural barrieres. It stimulates to healty lifestyles and is important as preventive work amoung youth. The Barents Secretariat have worked out a new programme for sports cooperation where the target group is organisations that go in for athletics and the main target group is childen and youth.
International sportactivities and projects that strengthens the cooperation across the borders in the region can be supported sport arrangements, tournaments, trainer and instructur exhange, competence building, networking and organisational developement.
There are no deadline for application if the application amount is under 400 000 NOK. More information is to be found at www.barents.no
