Seliger 2010

Under the state program of youth policy in the Russian Federation Russian The Engineering Union implementet the All-Russian annual educational forum “Seliger 2010" the 1st of July 1 to the 28th of July 2010 in the Tver region.

This year the event had a internation profile that had invited, besides 1000 of Russian students, 2000 people from 40 countries all over the world. Leading experts, professors and businessmen were involved in lectures, seminars and round tables dicussions concerning modern world development and important issues concerning national development.The Forum seeks to set up a global network to promote mutual understanding, cooperation and education among the young people of the world and to create better conditions for them to work together on designing joint international projects and initiatives. To reach this goal the participants of the Forum was offered an intensive educational program consisting of 6 modules:

·        Russia and Global Politics
·        Business and Innovation
·        Mass Media
·        Civil Society
·        Sustainable Development and Environment
·        Art and Design
 
The Forum also presentd a Career Fair organized by major Russian companies, as well as foreign companies working in Russia, interested in recruiting and cooperating with young talented graduates and students. Apart from that, the Forum offered a unique environment for entertainment and recreation.
