The Barents Boost Infocamp
Youths from Norrbotten and Västerbotten in Sweden are invited to take part in a great event in Umeå during weekend 10th-12th of september. The Barents Boost infocamp will give the participants engagement and enthusiasm when it comes to international cooperation across borders in the Barents region.The need to spread the good words about the Barents cooperation is crucial to recruit new organizations, institutions and individuals to the cross-border activities in the region. To show the possibilities for international youth work, youth involvement and supports for youth initiatives in the north is important to make the region interesting and attractive for youth is one of the highest priorities within the Barents Regional Youth program. This is due to common challenges the northern areas are facing with migration of youth to the southern areas in their respective countries.
The Barents Boost Infocamp will give the participants knowledge and enthusiasm when it comes to the Barents cooperation and through social activities and teambuilding the participants will experience the good Barents atmosphere together with the Board of the Barents Regional Youth Council that will take part.
