We are living in the North
The International Children’s Photo Exhibition “We Are Living In The North!”will take place during the Third SEVER.doc Fest in Norilsk. “Sever” means North in Russian. Norilsk – is one of the very North cities in the planet with very hard and cold climate. It is situated far in the North Siberia in Russia. The Exhibition will open the Third SEVER.doc Fest in Norilsk at 24th of February, 2012.The International Children’s Photo Exhibition “We Are Living In The North!”will take place during the Third SEVER.doc Fest in Norilsk. “Sever” means North in Russian. Norilsk – is one of the very North cities in the planet with very hard and cold climate. It is situated far in the North Siberia in Russia.
SEVER.doc is the annuary Festival of Documentary and Photography about the present-day life in the North. It is non-competitive non-commercial public festival for local community of Norilsk. It is traditionally held at the last week of February and gathered full cinema and gallery houses.
The main idea of the exhibition is to represent children and youth views of life in the North. Norilsk children invite their fellows from other northern countries to join the big photo project.
What does the northern childhood at different corners at the Earth look like? What are your happy opportunities, special fun and leisure in the North? How do you feel yourself in the North?
Show everybody how you find the land you live in! Take part in The International Children’s Photo Exhibition “We Are Living In The North!”
How to participate
- Photographer should be less then 18 years old.
- Photos should be saving in JPEG or TIFF, not more then 150 dpi, 1500px х 2000px.
- Photos will accept since 5th of December, 2011 till 5th of February, 2012.
- One Photographer can send not more then 3 photos.
- The picture should belong to the participator.
- Send the photos to e-mail NorthernChildren@gmail.com with description of author name, surname, age, contact e-mail, home address and title of photo.
All participators will receive the project certificate.
The best artworks will build up a new exhibition in Norilsk (Russia, Krasnojarskiy kraj). It will become a total summary of an international action, which united young photo-artists from northern countries.
The Exhibition will open the Third SEVER.doc Fest in Norilsk at 24th of February, 2012.
